Tender Description
Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites qualified manufacturers and suppliers to submit bids for the supply of HT/LT coils, LT copper wire, and repairing of LT coils specifically for 200 KVA routine and low loss damaged distribution transformers. This procurement is critical for the Transformer Reclamation Workshop at QESCO Quetta, ensuring the maintenance and operational efficiency of the power distribution network in Quetta.
The technical scope includes manufacturing machines for HT/LT coils with single and three-phase motors as per WAPDA standards and specifications. The supply also covers allied materials for 200, 100, 50, and 25 KVA damaged distribution transformers. Bidders must be registered with PEC, holding a valid ME-05 certificate verified by the Engineering Council Quetta, renewed for the financial years 2025-26 and 2026-27. Additionally, registration with FBR and active tax payer list (ATL) status is mandatory, along with registration with QESCO.
The tender process is conducted through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS 2.0 Version) portal, with all bids to be submitted electronically. A hard copy of the bidding documents must also be delivered to the Deputy Manager Transformer Workshop QESCO Quetta before the deadline. Earnest Money in the form of a CDR or bank guarantee is required, payable to the Finance Director QESCO Quetta.
