Installation and Re-structuring of Cable Tray Network with Shifting, Rewiring, Telephone Cabling and AC Outdoor Units

The Provincial Assembly of Sindh in Karachi is procuring comprehensive electrical and telecommunication works involving installation and re-structuring of cable tray networks, shifting and rewiring of electrical systems, telephone cabling, and relocation of air conditioner outdoor units. This project includes supply, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of powder coated MS cable trays of various sizes, laying of UPVC pipes for concealed wiring, and extensive telecommunication infrastructure such as Main Distribution Frames (MDF), Krone type termination strips, fiber optic cables, and network switches. The technical scope covers electrical works including circuit breakers, ammeters, voltmeters, and copper conductor wiring in PVC conduits. Telecommunication works involve installation and testing of telephone cables, CAT-6 UTP cables, fiber optic cables, and GPON/EPON routing ONTs. The project also includes dismantling and shifting of existing low-voltage wiring and CCTV cabling, as well as specialized labor for installation, testing, and commissioning. Air conditioning works include safe de-installation, re-fixing of outdoor units with fabricated MS stands, refrigerant piping, insulation, compressor fixing, and gas charging. Eligible bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in category C-6 or above for 2026, possess specialized codes CE10 and EE-11, and have an electrical contractor license issued by the Karachi Electrical Inspectorate. Firms should demonstrate an average annual turnover of at least PKR 100 million over the last five financial years with audited financial reports. Experience in similar projects of PKR 100 million or above completed in the last five years is mandatory, supported by performance certificates and tax return evidence. Registration with FBR, Sindh Revenue Board, and valid professional tax certificates are required. Joint ventures are not allowed. The bid submission deadline is 03 June 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day at the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, Court Road, Karachi. Bids must be submitted through the e-procurement system of Sindh. Earnest money of 5% of the bid amount is required in the form of pay order or bank guarantee. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids, ensuring all documents are signed, stamped, and paginated.
