Tender Description

The National Bank of Pakistan (Engineering Wing North Islamabad) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the major renovation and refurbishment works of the NBP Main Branch D.I Khan (0327) RO Bannu. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance the infrastructure and facilities of the branch in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The scope of work includes dismantling of existing masonry walls, false ceilings, cash counters, flooring, wall tiles, ramps, marble, steel doors, windows, glass works, electrical and plumbing fixtures, and other materials. The dismantled materials will be stacked as per instructions and debris will be disposed of outside municipal limits. Reinforced cement concrete works, steel reinforcement, brick masonry, plastering, PCC flooring, porcelain tiles, wooden textured tiles, laminated wooden flooring, granite skirting, glass doors and partitions, wooden doors, false ceilings, aluminum windows, roller blinds, railings, front elevation tiles and glazing, safety grills, steel shutters, wooden wall cladding, cash counters, termite proofing, repair works, tough tiles, fiber glass parking shed, logo/theme wall, roof treatment, plumbing fixtures, water supply and drainage systems, external sewer and manholes, furniture including branch manager tables, officer tables, credenzas, drawers, chairs, sofas, and reception counters are included. Electrical wiring, lighting, fans, power sockets, cable containment, data/voice wiring, distribution boards, protective devices, security systems, earthing, fire extinguishers, AC units, and strong room door installation are also part of the contract. The contract requires compliance with specified technical standards and approved brands. Bidders must be registered with relevant authorities, have PEC registration in category C-5 or above with specialization codes CE-10 & EE-04, and have completed at least three similar projects above Rs. 25 million in the last three years. Bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, October 27, 2026, 11:00 AM, and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions are not entertained. The contract will be awarded based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. A bid security or bid securing declaration is required. The contract includes a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract price. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted as per instructions. The Procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids. Bidders are advised to visit the site and examine all conditions before bidding. The contract duration is 150 days with a delay penalty of 0.1% per day up to 10% of contract price. The contract will be governed by the laws of Pakistan and disputes will be settled by arbitration in Islamabad. This is a comprehensive renovation project covering civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and furnishing works to upgrade the NBP branch in D.I Khan, ensuring modern facilities and compliance with bank standards. Items being procured: - Dismantling of masonry walls, false ceilings, cash counters, flooring, wall tiles, ramps, marble, steel doors, windows, glass works, electrical and plumbing fixtures - Reinforced cement concrete works (walls, beams, slabs) - Steel reinforcement bars - Brick masonry work - Plaster work - PCC underfloor and flooring - Porcelain tiles (various types and sizes) - Wooden textured and laminated flooring - Granite skirting and thresholds - Glass doors and partitions - Wooden doors (various types) - False ceilings (gypsum, dumpa, wooden) - Aluminum windows and louvers - Roller blinds - Stainless steel railings - Front elevation tiles and glazing - Safety grills and steel shutters - Steel doors for ATM, guard room, emergency exit - Wooden wall and column cladding - Cash counters and wooden cabinets - Termite proofing - Repair works - Tough tiles - Fiber glass parking shed - Logo/theme wall - Roof treatment and screeding - Main holes and concrete pavers - Plumbing fixtures and water supply system - Soil, waste, vent and rain water drainage system - External sewer and manholes - Furniture including branch manager table, officer tables, credenzas, drawer pedestals, CPU trolleys, revolving and visitor chairs, sofas, center and side tables, reception counter - Electrical wiring and fittings - Lighting fixtures - Fans - Power sockets and industrial sockets - Cable containment - Data, voice and TV wiring - Distribution boards and internal components - Protective devices - Security system components - Earthing system - Fire extinguishers - Copper pipes and control cables for ACs - Sign board work - Lightning protection and earthing system - AC units (various capacities and types) - Strong room door fire proof Bidders must ensure compliance with all technical specifications and use approved brands as listed. Submission is through EPADS portal only. Bidders must be registered and meet eligibility criteria including PEC registration and experience. Bid security and performance guarantee are required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder. Submission deadline is October 27, 2026, 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual bids are not accepted.
