Tender Description
The National Bank of Pakistan (Engineering Wing North Islamabad) invites sealed bids for the Renovation & Refurbishment Works of NBP IBB Airport Road Branch (2294) located in Gilgit FEDC Region. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the National Single Stage-One Envelope method on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal.
Items being procured:
- Dismantling and removal of existing masonry walls, doors, electrical, plumbing fittings, fixtures, washroom tiles, and other materials as directed
- Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) 3000 PSI for vault walls
- Steel reinforcement with Grade 60 deformed bars
- Brick masonry with 9'' thick walls
- Plaster work with 12mm thickness
- PCC flooring 37mm thick rough finish
- Porcelain tiles flooring 1200mm x 600mm, 11mm thick
- Tempered frameless glass doors with locks and handles
- Door locks for glass doors
- Internal paint works including plastic emulsion and weather shield paint
- False ceiling with 7.5mm thick laminated gypsum tiles
- PVC wall paneling
- Stainless steel railing with grade 304 pipes
- Standard fireproof strong room door with triple control locking system
- Electrical wiring including circuit wiring, switchboards, point wiring, and power sockets
- Supply and installation of lights, fans, sockets, distribution boards, and CCTV wiring
The scope includes all materials, labor, equipment, and services necessary for the complete renovation and refurbishment as per the detailed specifications and drawings. The work will be executed at the site in Gilgit and must comply with the technical and quality standards specified by the National Bank of Pakistan.
Eligibility criteria include valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10 & EE-04, active status on FBR Active Taxpayer List and Gilgit-Baltistan Revenue Authority, and completion of at least three similar projects costing not less than Rs. 1.0 million in the last three years.
Bidders must submit their bids electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, October 27, 2026, 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid security must be submitted in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. Technical and financial proposals will be evaluated using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.
The contract duration is 45 days from commencement. The successful bidder will not be required to provide a performance guarantee.
