Tender Description
The National Bank of Pakistan (Engineering Wing North Islamabad) invites sealed bids for the renovation and refurbishment works of the NBP IBB PWD Branch (2150) located in Rawalpindi FEDC Region. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted under the National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.
Items being procured:
- Dismantling works including masonry walls, false ceiling, cash counters, flooring, tiles, ramps, marble, steel doors, windows, glass works, electrical and plumbing fixtures, M.S grills, and debris disposal
- Shifting/removing existing lockers, cash safes and related items
- Reinforced cement concrete works (3000 PSI) for RCC walls, beams, lintels, shelves, slabs
- Steel reinforcement with Grade 60 deformed bars
- Tempered frameless glass doors and glass partitions
- Internal paint works including plastic emulsion, weather shield paint, and distemper
- Kitchen cabinets made of laminated MDF
- False ceiling with gypsum tiles and hanging system
- Steel doors for ATM, guard room, emergency exit
- Cash counter fabrication with MDF and corian tops
- Wooden hanging beams for glass partitions
- Logo/theme wall with chipboard and tactile sheet
- Standard strong room door supply and installation
- Electrical wiring including circuit wiring, point wiring, switch socket outlets, main/sub main cables
- Supply and installation of lights, fans, power sockets, miniature circuit breakers, and IT/DB room harnessing
The scope covers complete renovation and refurbishment as per detailed BOQs and specifications. Eligible bidders must have valid PEC registration in category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10 & EE-04, active FBR and Punjab Revenue Authority registration, and experience of at least three similar projects costing not less than Rs. 1 million in the last three years. Bid security in the form of pay order, banker's cheque, call deposit, bank guarantee, or demand draft is required.
Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS v2.0 portal by Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Technical and financial proposals will be evaluated on LCBS basis. The contract includes a 45-day delivery schedule. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject all bids.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents, attend the pre-bid meeting if applicable, and visit the site at their own expense. The contract will be governed by the laws of Pakistan and includes provisions for performance security, liquidated damages, and dispute resolution through arbitration.
