Tender Description
Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) Abbottabad invites bids for the procurement of 132/11 kV, 31.5/40 MVA Power Transformers. This corrigendum refers to the original tender notice ADPR-72 published on 29-10-2026 and announces a revised closing and opening date due to a public holiday on 09 November 2026. The new deadline for bid submission and opening is Tuesday, 10 November 2026.
Items being procured:
- 132/11 kV, 31.5/40 MVA Power Transformers
The procurement involves supply of high voltage power transformers suitable for electrical distribution networks. Bidders must ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards as outlined in the bidding documents. The transformers are critical for power transmission and distribution efficiency in the region.
Eligible bidders should be registered with FBR and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in supplying similar electrical equipment and valid PEC registration may be required. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and bid security conditions apply as per tender documents.
Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS v2.0 portal by 10:30 AM on 10 November 2026. The technical and financial bids will be opened at 11:00 AM the same day. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents and adhere strictly to the revised submission deadline.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your EPADS profile is fully updated and your digital signatures are valid well before the deadline to avoid last-minute submission issues. Early submission is recommended to mitigate any technical delays.
