Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified suppliers for the procurement of Deadend Clamp (DOG) under contract reference P109987 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned to support MEPCO's operational requirements in Multan and surrounding regions including Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and D.G. Khan. The procurement will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform, ensuring transparency and compliance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
Items being procured:
- Deadend Clamp (DOG), Quantity: 25,000 units, Rate per unit on FCS basis inclusive of all taxes, duties, 0.5% inspection charges and GST.
The technical specifications conform to WAPDA/PEPCO/NTDC standard PD-73:2004 (amended to date). The delivery location is MEPCO Regional Stores in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and D.G. Khan with a delivery period of 120 days or earlier. Bidders must ensure compliance with all eligibility criteria including valid FBR registration, active tax payer status, and no blacklisting by WAPDA or related entities. Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, or Bank Guarantee is mandatory.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Original bid security must be physically submitted to MEPCO Complex, Wapda Colony, Khanewal Road, Multan before the deadline. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 10:30 AM through EPADS. Manual submissions are not accepted.
MEPCO reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities by up to 15% at the time of award. Evaluation will be based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Bidders are advised to carefully review all bidding documents, including special conditions and technical specifications, to ensure compliance.
