Tender Description
The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT), Karachi, invites bids for the procurement of fire and safety equipments on a framework contract basis for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is conducted under SPPRA Rule 15(B) using the Single Stage One Envelope bidding procedure. The items will be supplied to SMBBIT Karachi and its satellite trauma centers across Sindh Province.

The technical scope includes supply of high-quality fire and safety equipment compliant with relevant NFPA, ANSI, ISO, and EN standards. The contract period is for one financial year 2026-27 with delivery required within one month of supply order. Liquidated damages apply for delays. Bidders must be registered with EPADS SPPRA and comply with all tax and registration requirements. Bid security of 5% of total quoted price is mandatory. Samples of all quoted items must be submitted in commercial packaging at least two days before tender submission. The procurement committee will conduct final technical evaluation.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS SPPRA portal. Tender fee of Rs. 5,000/- non-refundable in the form of pay order in favor of SMBBIT Karachi must be submitted before bid opening. The institute reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities without changing unit prices. Bidders are advised to carefully review all tender documents and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions. Signing each page of bid documents is mandatory.
