Tender Description
The Education Works Division Shaheed Benazirabad is procuring a comprehensive range of furniture and fixtures for the financial year 2025-2026. This procurement includes executive tables with side racks, revolving chairs, visitor chairs, computer tables and chairs, steel almirahs, laboratory tables and stools, library furniture, and various other office and institutional furniture items. The scope covers supply of high-quality materials such as Sheesham veneer, MS steel sheets, MDF lamination boards, and imported leather upholstery, all finished with spirit polish as per approved samples by the procuring agency.
Bidders must be registered manufacturers of furniture and fixtures with valid PEC categories if applicable, and must hold FBR/ATL registration. Experience in supplying similar furniture to government or semi-government institutions is mandatory, with a minimum of two contracts of Rs. 2.5 million each in the last five years. Financial stability is required, demonstrated by audited financial statements and tax returns for the last five years, with a minimum average annual turnover of Rs. 40 million. Bid security of 3% of the allocated funds is required along with earnest money in the form of a pay order or demand draft.
The tender follows a single stage-two envelope procedure under Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended). Technical bids will be opened first, followed by financial bids of technically qualified bidders. The deadline for submission is 28th April 2026 by 09:00 AM, with bid opening at 09:15 AM on the same day. Bids must be submitted to the office of the Executive Engineer, Education Works Division, Shaheed Benazirabad.
