Tender Description
Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and registered bidders for the procurement of Power Cable 1000-MCM, Power Cable 500-MCM and Ground Conductor 95mmsq for delivery to SEPCO Warehouse near 132kV Grid Station Arain Road Sukkur, Sindh. The procurement is planned under SEPCO's own resources for the financial year 2026-27. Items being procured:
- Power Cable 1000-MCM S/Core (5 Km)
- Power Cable 500-MCM S/Core (9 Km)
- Ground Conductor 95mmsq (15 Km)
The technical specifications conform to NTDC standards amended to date. Bidders must submit bids on EPADS v2.0 portal and provide a bid security of 2% of the total bid amount excluding GST in the form of CDR, Bank Guarantee, Bank Draft or Pay Order in favor of Chief Engineer (Development) PMU SEPCO Sukkur. The delivery period is 120 days or earlier from the date of issuance of purchase order. Partial delivery payments are allowed. Bidders must be manufacturers or authorized dealers with at least 5 years manufacturing experience and provide satisfactory operational certificates and financial capacity documents. The evaluation will be based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Bids must be valid for 120 days and submitted online on EPADS before the deadline of September 29, 2026 at 01:30 PM. Bid opening will be on the same day at 02:00 PM on EPADS. Manual bids will not be accepted. The procuring agency reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities by up to 15%. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions. One practical tip: Ensure timely registration and submission on EPADS v2.0 portal to avoid disqualification due to late or manual submission.
