Rehabilitation / Improvement of Electrical & HVAC Infrastructure at PAA Officer / Staff Mess at SZIAP Rahim Yar Khan

The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) at Multan International Airport invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified contractors for the rehabilitation and improvement of electrical and HVAC infrastructure at the PAA Officer and Staff Mess located at Sheikh Zaid International Airport (SZIAP) Rahim Yar Khan. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is being conducted under the National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Dismantling of light, fan, and call bell points wiring (25 jobs) - Installation of recessed/surface mounted ceiling lights/down lights (42 jobs) - Installation of recessed/surface mounted LED panel lights (42 jobs) - Installation of 140 cm sweep ceiling fans (34 jobs) - Fixing 13 Amps polycarbonate flame retardant 3-pin switch socket units (32 jobs) - Fixing 15 Amps polycarbonate flame retardant 3-pin switch socket units (18 jobs) - Fixing 10 Amps polycarbonate flame retardant switches (40 jobs) - Installation of 20 cm sweep double action plastic exhaust fans (15 jobs) - Installation of 1.5 Ton split type wall mounted DC inverter air conditioners (16 jobs) - Installation of 2 Ton split type wall mounted DC inverter air conditioners (2 jobs) - Installation of dual supply (gas & electric) geysers (6 jobs) - Wiring for sub-main with 2X4mm2 PVC insulated copper wire in conduit (450 meters) - Fixing 6 to 32 Amps S.P MCCB on existing board (10 jobs) - Installation of flood lights (IP66) 90-100 watts (16 jobs) - Fixing earthing set with copper plate buried in ground (2 jobs) The scope includes renovation and replacement works of electrical and mechanical systems at the officer and staff mess. The contract duration is 90 days from the date of commencement. Bidders must be registered with PEC in category C-6 or above and comply with FBR/NTN requirements. Bid security of PKR 300,000 is required in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 portal by 10th September 2026 at 11:00 AM and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Technical and financial proposals must be prepared in accordance with the bidding documents available on EPADS. The contract will require performance security of 5% of contract price. Contractors are advised to visit the site and review all specifications and conditions. Compliance with CAA's HSE Manual and safety requirements is mandatory. The contract coordinator and CAA representatives will monitor HSE compliance during execution. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and upload all required documents including bid security scanned copy before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
