Repair of Pump No.05 at Sangjani Treatment Plant

The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RHQ Rawalpindi) invites sealed bids for the repair of Pump No.05 at the Sangjani Treatment Plant located in Rawalpindi. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. Interested bidders must register on EPADS to participate. Items being procured: - Dis-assembling, cleaning, inspection, rectification of old parts, rebuilding and rectification of impeller including worn surface restoration, blade profile correction, dynamic balancing, performance alignment, reassembling, supervision of site installation, laser alignment and commissioning - Parts including Wear Rings (Bronze Metallurgy) 2 pcs, Shaft Sleeves (SS Metallurgy) 2 pcs, Ball Bearings (SKF/FAG/NTN) 2 pcs, Plain Shell Bearing Babbit for Pump 2 pcs, Plain Shell Bearings Babbit for Fly Wheel 2 pcs, Gland Packing 8 meters, Looping Pipes 1 set, Gasket & Orings 1 set, Lube Oil 50 liters, consumables - Dismantling, repair, installation of 700 mm NRV, gate valve, and sluice valve, along with cooling line installation and actuator programming - De-coupling of motor from pumping set and foundation, dismantling of motor and cleaning of parts, rewinding of stator squirrel cage induction motor with imported copper material and class H insulation, varnishing and oven drying of stator winding, repairing/rectification of rotor including fingers, dynamic balancing of rotor by computerized machine, replacement of Deep Groove Ball Bearing, rectification, rebuilding and machining of both sides bearing end shields, re-assembling, re-fixing, installation, testing, commissioning and laser alignment of pump-motor The scope covers comprehensive repair and refurbishment of the pump and motor at the Sangjani Treatment Plant. Bidders must have relevant PEC category for works, valid FBR registration, and demonstrate past experience with similar contracts. A bid security in the form of Call at Deposit is required. The contract duration is 27 days from commencement. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 01:00 PM. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 01:30 PM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The evaluation will follow Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) criteria. Performance security of 5% of contract price will be required from the successful bidder. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and carefully prepare your technical bid to meet the minimum 70% passing marks in technical evaluation to avoid disqualification. Also, submit the original bid security to the specified address before the deadline to comply with bid requirements.
