Procurement of 200 Nos 100 KVA Distribution Transformers as per NTDC Specification DDS-84:2020 (Amended todate)

Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and pre-qualified suppliers/manufacturers registered with SEPCO/DISCOs/NTDC/PPMC/WAPDA for the procurement of 200 Nos 100 KVA Distribution Transformers as per NTDC Specification DDS-84:2020 (Amended todate). The procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and the delivery location is Regional Store Rohri and Larkana on FCS (Free Consignee Stores) basis including free loading and unloading by the supplier. Items being procured: - 200 Nos 100 KVA Pole Mounted Distribution Transformers as per NTDC Specification DDS-84:2020 (Amended todate) The transformers must comply with the latest technical specifications and IEC standards. Prototype approval from NTDC/PPMC is mandatory or must be obtained before mass production at the bidder's own cost. The delivery schedule requires 100% delivery within 90 days or earlier. Bidders must be registered with FBR, on the Active Taxpayer List, and hold valid prequalification certificates. Bid security of Rs. 2,922,000 in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft is required. Bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 portal by 14 October 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:15 AM the same day. Manual bids will not be accepted. Technical compliance, financial capacity, past experience, and integrity pact submission are mandatory. The contract includes a warranty period of 24 months from the date of supply completion. The supplier is responsible for all warranty claims including collection, repair, and return of defective transformers at their own cost. Payment will be made in PKR within 30 days of invoice submission and acceptance. The evaluation will be based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) criteria. Liquidated damages of 2% per month up to 10% of contract price apply for delayed delivery. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents available on EPADS and ensure timely submission of all required documents and bid security. Registration on EPADS v2.0 is mandatory for participation. For any clarifications, bidders may seek information through the EPADS portal before 7 October 2026. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your prototype approval and all registration documents are valid and submitted timely to avoid disqualification. Also, register early on EPADS v2.0 to avoid last-minute technical issues.
