Tender Description
The National Logistic Corporation (NLC) based in Rawalpindi is procuring IT equipment including laptops, printers, and automatic document feeder (ADF) scanners. This procurement is aimed at upgrading the IT infrastructure with branded, brand new equipment meeting detailed technical specifications. The laptops must have Intel Core Ultra 5 processors, 16GB DDR5 RAM, 1TB SSD, Windows 11 Professional license, and other advanced features. Printers and scanners must meet specified speed, resolution, and connectivity standards as per the tender documents.
Bidders must be OEMs or authorized dealers with valid authorization letters and demonstrate financial capability. Compliance with FBR registration and active tax filer status is mandatory. Firms must submit a tender fee of PKR 2,000 and bid security of PKR 100,000 along with their technical bids. The technical bid must include complete technical data, brochures, and a comparison chart against NLC specifications. Delivery and installation are required within 45 days of contract award, with penalties for late delivery.
Tender submissions must be delivered to HQ NLC, Harding Road, Rawalpindi by hand or post before the deadline. Offers must be sealed in double covers separating technical and commercial bids. The validity of offers should be at least 90 days. Performance bank guarantee of 5% of contract value is required from the successful bidder. Warranty of one year with OEM support is mandatory.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all technical specifications and OEM authorization documents are complete and attached, as incomplete bids or missing documents will be rejected. Timely submission and adherence to the single stage two envelope procedure will improve chances of success. This tender offers a significant opportunity for IT suppliers to engage with a reputable government entity and expand their footprint in the public sector.
