Tender Description
The Pakistan Air Force is inviting sealed tenders for the supply, purchase, repair, and overhauling of various critical items at PAF Base Nur Khan Rawalpindi. This procurement includes repair of aircraft engines, procurement of spares for multiple systems such as MFG 61X Interface Test Adopters, ATCR System, PA System, ACMI Equipment, and DSI Setup, as well as equipment for industrial labs including generators and pallet movers. The scope covers a wide range of technical items including mechanical parts, electrical equipment, and medical supplies, reflecting the diverse needs of the Air Force base.
Bidders must be registered with the Directorate General Defence Purchase and provide Earnest Money along with financial capability proof such as six months bank statements. Firms must also submit a CDR of Rs. 2,000/- if unregistered. The tender requires FBR and ATL registration, and experience in similar defense or government contracts is essential. Technical and financial bids must be submitted separately as per the prescribed guidelines.
The tender was published on 16th June 2026, with the closing date and time set for the same day at 10:30 AM for the repair of aircraft engines and 11:30 AM for other items. Interested suppliers should download the detailed specifications and instructions from the Pakistan Air Force website and ensure timely submission to the Directorate of Procurement (Air) at PAF Base Nur Khan. Late submissions or incomplete documentation may lead to disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the Earnest Money requirements and ensure all OEM agreements and manufacturer stockist proofs are attached to avoid rejection. Early preparation of the technical bid and financial bid in separate envelopes will facilitate smooth evaluation and increase chances of success.
